My name is Jim Kleckner and I'm a comedy writer and maker of things on the internet.

My latest projects (updated 05/07/12):

FAT KID NINJA iPhone Game - Fat Kid Ninja is about an adorable little chubby kid who goes to war against an army vegetables. I helped create the character, wrote/voiced the cut scenes, and led the creative team in bringing the game from idea to the App Store. PLAY IT IZ FUN.
Writer/Producer at ACTV8.me - ACTV8.me is a second-screen platform that's making TV more interactive and fun. Partners include FOX Broadcasting Company (New Girl, SYTYCD and MasterChef), Mark Burnett (The Celebrity Apprentice) and Oxygen Media (The Glee Project).
For much of my professional career I've been the Head Writer at LiquidGeneration.com. We make original, pop culture-inspired animations, web shows and games for people who like to laugh. Our work has been talked about or featured in Entertainment Weekly, US Weekly, CNN, Howard Stern, Maxim Magazine, Gawker, Star Magazine, Best Week Ever, G4TV, and the Chicago Sun-Times.
I'm also a founder of LiquidGeneration's creative services arm, Brand Blaze, where we make branded entertainment for Fortune 500 companies. As Head Writer, my team and I were responsible for creating campaigns, games and web shows for the US Army, Microsoft (Xbox 360), Paramount Studios, Miramax, Sony (Playstation) and Unilver (Axe Deodorant). We worked with FOX DIGITAL on a 20-episode run of the animated recap series "For Your Eyes Only" for the final season of 24. We've also produced a 10-episode recap series of the latest season of So You Think You Can Dance.

Spotted on a piss-poor commercial: “internet celebrity” Justine Ezarik.

This is what Internet celebs accomplish. This is not what talent accomplishes. But your Wikipedia entry will never be as thorough as Justine’s.

I still don’t know what to think about Justine. I go from finding her funny to irritating and back frequently.

I love the iJustine haters. They just don’t get. How the hell does somebody get so many fans and not be talented (if that’s what’s being insinuated)?

If thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people click on a link you posted or watched a video you made or pay you lots of money to be in a commercial — even if it’s piss-poor — you are talented.

I think she’s hilarious. Always believed that. Yeah, she’s created plenty of cringe worthy videos, but haven’t we all…

iJustine is just the best. Everybody knows that.
