so, i just won a fucking trip to South America.
holy shit.
this is legit, right? this is the thing i entered.
i’m going to Columbia with like 4 other bloggers (i know! right?) and its all being filmed for Nat Geo. what the fuck? do these things happen? really? wow.
This seems like a load of crap. It’s gotten so bad that a business contact just asked me whether I knew anybody who might be interested. It’s going around, and I’m sure it’s BS. Here’s a copy of the email I received:
I wanted to contact you because my company won a very interesting
project for a client in Colombia that requires a USA Blogger.
The project involves sending top Profesional bloggers from various
countries in an all expenses paid trip through various tourist regions
in Colombia. In return, the blogger will write about his experience
during the trip and when he goes back home.
For this we need a blogger who has an interesting amount of followers
so that people learn about the experience.
The bloggers will be paid.
I can give you much more detail if you know of anyone who is interested.
THANKS!! I look forward to hearing from you.
Update: My coworker who received this email knows the person who sent it. So I guess it’s legit. Don’t end up in a bodybag, travelers!
